Geelong champion Jimmy Bartel (pictured) will add another milestone to his incredible career when the Cats meet fellow finals contenders the Bulldogs in Geelong on Friday night.

Bartel will join a group of the AFL’s most celebrated players when he racks up his 300th AFL match to add to his list of achievements that includes the 2007 Brownlow, a Norm Smith Medal, and three flags.

32 year old Bartel says the criticism of his supposed lack of skill and pace has been a motivatiing factor that he’s used throughout his career as he’s become one of the leagues most respected talents.
