Under 18 All Australian Brandan Parfitt (pictured) has been drafted by the Geelong footy club and will wear the No. 3 guernsey previously worn by retired superstar Jimmy Bartel.
The Cats used pick No. 26 to select Parfitt who was at home with family and friends when the call came.
Parfitt has had a long association with Cats speedster Nakiah Cockatoo and is looking forward to life as a professional footballer alongside another NT player Stephen Motlop.
