Geelong Cats coach Chris Scott says the club is happy to allow brilliant midfielder Stephen Motlop (pictured) the freedom to be his own man.
Motlop is having his best season in the AFL so far after seven games, significantly better in fact than his 2013 season in which he won All Australian honours.
The coach says while Motlop could have been fitter when he returned for pre season training, he’s done everything the club has asked of him since.
