The Federal Government says it will part with a quarter of a million dollars for the Human Rights Commission to advance Indigenous property rights in Australia.

Attorney-General George Brandis says he and the government share First Nations people’s right to sovereignty.  He says native title needs to be central to Indigenous people and country for countless generations.
