Hawthorn champion Shaun Burgoyne (pictured) says the departure of champions Sam Mitchell and Jordan Lewis to other clubs is just part of the life of a professional football.
The Kokatha man knows that at the age 34, his career is rapidly approaching its end and the possibility of a trade to another club as the Hawks blood the new generation of stars is a distinct possibility.
There’s certainly been no dip in form from Burgoyne in recent seasons but he says he’d have to consider the possibility of a move with limited time left in his footballing career.
