Veteran Hawthorn utility Shaun Burgoyne (pictured) will add another milestone to his celebrated career on Friday night when the Hawks take on the Crows at the MCG.

The four time premiership winner will play his 300th AFL match against  the Adelaide side and in doing so, become just the fifth First Nations player to crack the 300 game mark, joining Adam Goodes, Andrew McLeod, Michael O’Loughlin and Gavin Wanganeen.

NIRS footys Chris Johnson says the  decision to leave his former club Port Adelaide was a crucial decision in Burgoyne going onto become one of the games all time greats.
