Hawthorn star Shaun Burgoyne (pictured) celebrated his 300th AFL match on Friday night in the best possible style with a win over the Crows.
The Hawks were pushed all the way to the siren by the Adelaide side before some late quarter heroics by Cyril Rioli and Paul Puopolo saw the premiers home by just 3 points.
Remarkably, Hawthorn have won their last three matches by the same narrow margin and Burgoyne says the premiers self belief can only improve as they continue to find a way to win the tough encounters.
