Sydney Swans superstar Lance Franklin (pictured) says the experiment of playing further up the ground has been beneficial as the Swans charged towards the 2016 Grand Final against the Bulldogs.
Despite the positional shift, Franklin finished runner up as the competitions leading goal kicker this season.
If there’s been a criticism of Franklin in the past, its that his teammates have become too focused on him as the attacking focus and the move has led to a much greater spread of goalkickers in the Swans team.
