On the eve of the Gold Coast Titans final clash with local rivals Brisbane, the Titans have been shocked to learn that speedster David Mead has been in talks with the Broncos.
With the arrival of Jarryd Hayne at the Titans, Mead is no longer a first choice option for the club and would be an ideal replacement for retiring Brisbane centre Jack Reed.
Former Bronco star Jharal Yow Yeh (pictured) says its no surprise that Mead is considering a new club given the circumstances but it would be a bitter blow if indeed Haynes presence forces him out of the Titans.
