The selection of Souths skipper Greg Inglis (pictured) in the centres for the Kangaroos for the upcoming Test match against the Kiwis offers in form Broncos fullback Darius Boyd the opportunity to play his first match for Australia in the fullback spot.
Incoming Australian coach Mal Meninga has made a number of interesting selections for his inaugural Test in charge of the national side with the shift of Inglis to the centres the most contentious.
Boyd, who’s been the competitions form fullback in 2016 says while he’s a little surprised by the positional shift, he’s sure the move will be the best for the Aussies when they meet New Zealand in Newcastle next week.
