New South Wales Origin coach Laurie Daley says he has a number of players under consideration to take over as Blues skipper in 2017.
With veteran captain Paul Gallen ending his time in the representative arena at the end of the 2016 season, the search is on for the next generation of Blues leadership.
Daley says while he won’t be making any announcement until the team for Game One is released, he certainly has some likely candidates to choose from.
