Cronulla premiership star Valentine Holmes says he sympathises with fellow Shark Jack Bird over his contract negotiations.
Bird has reportedly signed with the Broncos on a three year $2.1 million dollar deal.
Although no formal announcement has yet been made, Birds teammate Holmes (pictured) says business is business and he’s confident Bird will make the right decision for his future in the game.
