Fremantle Dockers coach Ross Lyon (pictured) says the club has had good news from Germany about the treatment Harley Bennell is receiving for his calf injury.
Lyon says the club has been endeavouring to utlise the services of leading soft tissue expert Dr Hans Muller – Wohlfahrt for awhile but only recently has he become available to see Bennell.
There has been speculation that the trip to Germany is Bennells last chance to fix the injury but Lyon says he’s confident Bennell is in the best hands and will return to the Dockers squad for the 2017 season.
