Ash Barty’s tennis career is reaching new heights after the 20 year old won her first WTA singles title on the weekend.
Barty’s big serve was a powerful weapon for her as she defeated Japans Nao Hibino 6 – 3, 6 – 2 in the final of the Malaysian Open in Kuala Lumpar.
It means for the first time, the Queenslander (pictured) has broken in the Top 100, moving up from her ranking of 158 going into the tournament.
