With Ben Barba (pictured) flagging a move to French rugby with Toulon, the NRL has said they will back date his 12 month suspension until after he returns to the NRL.
The ongoing saga between Barba, his management and the NRL has been dragging on for months now and Cronulla have announced that Barba will return to the club, despite being sacked after last years positive drug test.
Sharks forward Chris Heighington, who was a part of the Cronulla clubs inaugural premiership win alongside Barba says anything that allows Barba to get back to full health and fitness while continuing to support his family, can’t be a bad thing.
