NRL premiers North Queensland hope that Saturday nights thrashing of the Warriors in Townsville on Saturday night will get their 2016 finals campaign back on track.
The win brought to an end the Cowboys disturbing end of season slump after three straight losses and sees the club draw level with the Broncos in fifth place on the ladder.
The next assignment for the club is the clash with the Bulldogs at their traditional home at Belmore, a ground Cowboys skipper and former Bulldog Johnathon Thurston (pictured) knows well.
