The Greens spokesperson for housing says the ‘notorious 2014 Budget’ continues to be a disaster for homelessness services who are still feeling the effects today.
Senator Scott Ludlam says since cuts to organisations providing services to the homeless were made by the Abbott Government, nothing else has been granted back to the sector.
He says as it stands, homeless services are uncertain of their future when their funding runs out in about a year’s time.
