A bill introduced into the Northern Territory Parliament aims to clarify what mechanical devices can be used in restraining children while in detention.
Through the Youth Justice Amendment Bill 2016, introduced last week, the Territory’s Commissioner for Corrections will decide which devices will be approved when restraining children.
