Farmers in the central west of New South Wales are being urged to explore the cultural history of their land, after a farmer discovered the skeletal remains of a First Nation’s person.

Mike Zell was doing some fox baiting on his property near Gulargambone when he found a human skull.

 

Aboriginal Communities Officer for the Local Land Services in Dubbo Mike Nolan says he understands farmers might be reluctant to expose themselves to red tape.
