An exhibition at the Sydney Biennale contemporary arts festival is paying homage to the original First Nation’s tent embassy established in Canberra in 1972.
Indigenous activist and artist Richard Bell put the tent up at Sydney’s Circular Quay on the grounds of the Museum of Contemporary Art.
Mr Bell says the history of the tent embassy should be taught to every school student.
