Melbourne Storm half Cooper Cronk says there’s a very real chance that 2017 will be his last in rugby league.

The Kangaroos and Queensland lynchpin shocked the rugby league world yesterday when he announced he would quite Melbourne to move to Sydney in order to be closer to his partner, a television presenter.

The announcement has NRL clubs rubbing their hands at the prospect of signing one of the games greatest players but Cronk (pictured) says he won’t even consider the future for now with such a big season ahead.
