Newly inducted 2012 Brownlow Medallists Sam Mitchell (pictured) and Trent Cotchin are still coming to terms with the news of their awards.
With Jobe Watson handing back his medal won at the height of the Bombers supplements scandal, the pair become the new winners after finishing in second place at the original presentation.
There has been speculation about whether the players would decide against receiving the award but Mitchell says that was never a consideration.
