AFL – Fremantle star Michael Walters (pictured) returned to where it all began on Tuesday as part of the lead up to the 2016 Nicky Winmar Carnival.
Walters played his junior footy at Midvales Ron Rose oval and he says he was happy to return to his junior club to show the young players of the future what can be gained by making healthy life choices.
There’s no doubt Walters has come a long way since his time at Midvale although he remembers those days well.
