NRL – Qld’s new State of Origin coach Kevin Walters has made the first major selection of his time at the helm of the Maroons in announcing the 2016 Emerging Origin Squad.
NRL premiership winning hooker Jake Granville is one of a number of new faces in the squad that will go into camp later this month.
Cowboys teammate Justin O’Neill (pictured) rejoins the squad this year alongside the like of young stars Edrick Lee, Moses Mbye and Anthony Milford and says he’s looking forward to the chance to reacquaint himself with the Qld set up at it prepares to defend the 2015 series win.
