CRICKET – The Northern Territory have pulled off a remarkable win at this years Inaugural National Indigenous Cricket Championships.
The Territory side were given little chance of upsetting the undefeated Queensland side when the two sides met in a T20 match at Jim McConville Oval.
After Territory skipper Darrell Lowe won the toss, his side posted a competitive 8/108 with Hayden Pages 28 and Ayden Allans handy 26 the highlights.
When the Queenslanders took to the crease, Dylan Fuller and Page made immediate inroads with Page snaring three key wickets following the runout of dangerous Queensland batsman Cameron Trask as the tournament favourite favourites fell six runs short of their target.
