NRL – Brisbane Broncos and newly appointed England rugby league coach Wayne Bennett (pictured) says drinking bans are not the answer following the suspension of two Qld Emerging Academy players.
Cronulla star Valentine Holmes and Melbourne Storm fullback Cameron Munster have been rubbed out of any involvement with the Qld side for 12 months after breaking an academy curfew on sunday night.
Holmes was arrested by police and charged with offences relating to the over consumption of alcohol, leading to Bennetts call for greater education for players in relation to their use of alcohol.
