NRL – New South Wales State of Origin coach Laurie Daley (pictured) is already making plans to cover the halfback position if as expected, Mitchell Pearce is unavailable.
Pearce’s latest boozy scandal has seen him flee the country for an overseas rehab facility with no decision yet from the Roosters about skippers future at the club.
Daley says while there are some outstanding young halves prospects coming through, Josh Reynolds would be the obvious candidate if Pearce is unavailable.
