AFL – Port Adelaide president David Koch claims Essendon were asked by the other seventeen AFL clubs to do a deal with ASADA over the supplements scandal but the Bombers refused.
34 current and former Essendon players were banned yesterday for 12 months and will be prevented from having any involvement in the game at any level till November 2017.
Koch says the current situation could have been avoided if Essendon had agreed to the wishes of the other clubs but the Bombers decided to continue down the path of denial instead.
