The Community Broadcasting Foundation is an independent non-profit funding agency that solicits and distributes funds for the maintenance and development of community broadcasting in Australia including specialist services for Ethnic, Indigenous, regional and radio hearing (RPH) audiences.

Each year the foundation grants more that $19.7 million to community media organisations across the country to achieve their vision “A voice for everyone community – sharing our stories”.

The National Indigenous Radio Service receives funding from the Community Broadcasting Foundation through it’s Operations and Development grant category.
