More First Nations people head off to uni than ever before

The latest figures issued by the Federal Government show enrolment in tertiary education by First Nations people jumped more than seven per cent during 2015. 
 
Almost one thousand more Indigenous students enrolled in higher education last year compared to 2014.
 
Indigenous enrolment represented over one per cent of overall student numbers in 2015, less than half Australia’s First Nations population.
