Special Envoy for Reconciliation and Implementation of the Uluru Statement from the Heart Senator Pat Dodson says models on regional voice to parliament have not been thrown away.
The comment comes as Opposition Leader Peter Dutton continues to call for specifics on proposed Voice legislation, today alleging that proposals for regional Indigenous voice structures have been ‘pushed aside.’
Speaking to ABC News, Senator Dodson says the idea those legislative proposals have been ignored is a figment of Mr Dutton’s imagination.
