The Penrith Panthers have joined the list of clubs to have lost vital players to injury  in the first round of the NRL.

Hooker James Segeyaro (pictured) will miss up to eight weeks after suffering a fractured arm in the Panthers 30 – 2 loss to the Raiders on Saturday.

Half Jamie Soward says while club will certainly miss the energetic Segeyaros work at dummy half and around the field, the Panthers will  need to get over his loss quickly with only two days till the club takes on the Bulldogs on thursday  night.
