The CEO of the peak body for rural health in Australia says the experience of racism has a detrimental effect on people’s wellbeing.
The comment comes as the National Rural Health Alliance calls for the National Cabinet to make addressing racism against Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples a priority.
