Prominent Aboriginal journalist and Walkley Award winner, Stan Grant has been appointed as the first Indigenous affairs editor of Guardian Australia.
Grant, a Wiradjuri man, has spent the majority of career focussed on foreign reporting but says he is now turning his focus to his own people.
He says he wants to tell of the stories of his country he is drawn to tell and he doesn’t expect everyone to agree with everything he writes.
