NRL – The Melbourne Storms Queensland and Australian fullback Billy Slater (pictured) is eyeing off a return to the game in the Auckland Nines.
After battling a shoulder injury for the best part of two years, Slater finally underwent surgery in June and didn’t play again in 2015.
Slater re – signed with the Melbourne club for another two years in August and having played 277 games for the club so far, is set to become the second Storm player to play 300 games.
