RUGBY – Thousands of family, friends, fans and rugby greats have gathered at Eden Park in Auckland to farewell Jonah Lomu.

Former All Black skipper Wayne Shelford led more than 20 former internationals in a Haka as Lomu’s casket was transported from the stadium.

Teammates spoke glowingly of the giant wingers generosity and kindness and former All Black winger Eric Rush in a moving tribute remembered the first time Lomu played against the man he displaced as the greatest winger to play the game.
