RUGBY – David Pocock’s (pictured) incredible season has earned the Wallabies and Brumbies backrower the Rugby Union Players Association Medal for Excellence.

The award is voted on by players and is widely recognized as the ultimate accolade for rugby players in Australia.

It’s the second time Pocock has received the award after first being judged the winner back in 2010.

Its apt acknowledgement of Pococks incredible season, in which he was outstanding for the Brumbies in their run to the Super Rugby semi finals and then capped the season off by playing a crucial role in Australias World Cup campaign, finishing the tournament off by being named in the team of the tournament for the second time.
