CRICKET – Australian cricket coach Darren Lehmann has offered his support to the latest proposals designed to increase the appeal of Test cricket.
With crowds down at test matches across the cricket world, and the game increasingly dominated by the bat, a number of different options are being explored to bring the crowds back with the Day Night Test experiment declared a success at its first trial.
The next options being considered are the abolition of the toss and Tests being reduced to four days and Lehmann says he can see the merit in both.
