RUGBY SEVENS – The decision to accompany her cousin to a talent identification program has turned out better than anyone could have hoped for sprinter turned rugby sevens star Ellia Green (pictured).
Green was judged player of the final and the tournaments best player at the weekends Sevens tournament in Dubai at which the Australian team emerged champions with wins over New Zealand and England.
Greens pace was the x factor for the side, scoring nine tries in the weekend matches and she’s now set to represent Australia at the Olympics later this year.
