AFL – The Fremantle Dockers have the potential to break the record for the most First Nations players in an AFL team when the 2016 season begins.

The addition of Shane Yarran (pictured) and Harley Bennell to the clubs rosters means the Dockers now have nine indigenous players in the squad.

Fremantle set the record back in 2003 and Noongar All Australian defender Michael Johnson says it will be a proud moment if the record is broken in the 2016 season.
