AFL – The Port Adelaide AFL club’s Indigenous AFL Academy has been the focus of the AFL’s engagement with China with a view to increasing the games exposure in Asia.
The Academy squad have been on a ten day tour of China and took on a team of Chinese players from the southern Chinese province of Guangzhou on the weekend.
Team China player Zhang Hou is a big fan of the program and says he hopes to see the day when an AFL club will field a player from the southern Chinese province.
