The National Congress of Australia’s First Peoples says they have been asked to co-host consultations in efforts to reboot the Closing the Gap framework.
The Federal Indigenous affairs minister announced he intends to overhaul the current Closing the Gap framework ahead of the tenth anniversary of the campaign.
It comes following a meeting chaired by Federal Indigenous affairs minister Nigel Scullion in Canberra on Monday which included Indigenous affairs ministers from all states and territories.
