The Prime Minister has reiterated his opposition to an Indigenous voice to parliament saying he stands up for Australian institutions being open to all people.

The comment was made in Parliament as the nation marked the 10th anniversary of the apology to the Stolen Generation.

Opposition leader Bill Shorten asked the Prime Minister is he still opposed the recommendations stemming from the Uluru Statement from the Heart.

Malcom Turnbull said he still doesn’t believe the idea would gain traction.
