Kangaroos coach Mal Meninga has thrown his support behind Daley Cherry Evans as Johnathon Thurstons replacement in Origin Game Three.
With Thurston out of the rest of the season, a number of players have been thrown up as possible solutions as the Blues press for a rare series victory.
Meninga (pictured) says with Cherry Evans in excellent form for Manly, he would be the perfect foil for Cooper Conk in the Maroons halves at Lang Park on July 12.
