Australian batsman Usman Khawaja (pictured) says he’s an unabashed fan of Day Night Test matches.

Khawaja made a welcome return to form for Australia in the Adelaide Test match, scoring a memorable century while surviving a difficult test against the pink ball wielded by the South African attack.

The Australian side will meet Pakistan at the Gabba  in the next Day Night Test to be played in the Australia summer and Khawaja says he believes despite the difficulties presented by the pink ball, that the format is a winner and it won’t be long before it’s a regular part of the cricket schedule internationally.
