Around 60 First Nations people will be heading to Guam, an island territory in the North Pacific Ocean, for the 12th Festival of Pacific Arts.

The purpose of the festival is to combat the erosion of traditional customary practices with the sharing of culture through art, performances and cultural activities.

27 pacific nations with 2,500 performers, artists and cultural practitioners are expected to attend.

Hip hop artist and Larrakia/Bardi man Jimblah (pictured) says he is keen to hear what vibes are coming out of other pacific nations.
