A best on ground performance in a regional representative match for Hampden opened the door for Geelong recruit Jamaine Jones (pictured).

Jones was a late call up for the match and played a blinder, despite his team going down, kicking three goals and attracting the attention of Cats recruiting boss Stephen Wells.

It was definitely a case of playing a great game at just the right time for Jones who was selected by the Cats with pick 48 in last weeks rookie draft.
