Port Adelaide have retained coach Ken Hinkley for an additional three years.
Port were disturbed by reports that Hinkley was giving serious consideration to heading north and taking on the coaching job at the Gold Coast Suns following reports of a rift between the coach and Power president David Koch.
With three more years added to his contract yesterday, Hinkley (pictured) says he never gave any real consideration to leaving Port and he’s looking forward to continuing in Adelaide.
