
National Indigenous Music Awards
With NITV, the National Indigenous Radio Service will be broadcasting this year’s National Indigenous Music Awards live from Darwin’s Amphitheatre. The awards features a massive line-up of Indigenous talent, with performances by Thelma Plum, King Stingray, Emma Donovan & the Putbacks, Birdz & Fred Leone, Yirrmal, J-MILLA and the Red Flag Dancers.
The night will feature a special tribute to the late Archie Roach and see Gurrumul inducted into the NIMA Hall of Fame. NIMA Award winners will also be announced in the categories of Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Film Clip of the Year, New Talent of the Year and Community Clip of the Year.
