After an excellent pre season, Hawthorn veteran Shaun Burgoyne (pictured) says he’s fit and firing for his 16th season at the highest level of AFL footy.
Burgoyne is currently only contracted until the end of the 2016 season but he’s certainly not short on motivation with his 300th game now only weeks away.
Burgoyne has been part of three premierships since linking with the Hawks to add to the flag he won with Port Adelaide and says he can’t wait for the new season to begin as Hawthorn attempt to add a fourth straight premiership to their trophy cabinet
